Our Story

FinTrail started from a simple frustration: tracking a DSE portfolio shouldn't require spreadsheets, multiple websites, and constant manual updates.

As retail investors ourselves, we spent hours every week updating prices, calculating returns, and trying to stay on top of market news. We knew there had to be a better way.

So we built FinTrail — the tool we wished existed. A single platform that brings together real-time prices, portfolio tracking, technical analysis, and market news. All designed specifically for the Dhaka Stock Exchange.

Today, thousands of investors trust FinTrail to manage their portfolios. And we're just getting started.

In April 2026, FinTrail was incorporated as FinTrail Limited under the Companies Act (Act XVIII) of 1994 (Reg. No. CH-16638/2026), giving the team a formal home in Chattogram and a stronger foundation to keep building for Bangladeshi investors.

Chairman

A H M Shahnur Alam

An engineering graduate of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Shahnur has spent more than two decades building and shipping software. In 2009 he co-founded a Chattogram-based software studio that now runs a portfolio of digital products and SaaS platforms used by millions of customers worldwide. Along the way he has built and led the product, engineering, and operations teams behind them. He chairs FinTrail Limited and sets the company's long-term direction.

Managing Director

A H M Shahriar Alam

Shahriar runs FinTrail Limited as Managing Director, owning product strategy, growth, and the day-to-day work of moving the company forward. He brings the operator’s lens of someone who has spent more than a decade scaling digital products from early traction to a global customer base. As a co-founder of a Chattogram software studio, he has built cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations, and now applies that playbook to FinTrail.

Director

A H M Shafaet Alam

Shafaet thinks like an architect and ships like an engineer. He has spent over a decade designing the systems behind web and SaaS products that have quietly run at production scale for years, and is a co-founder of the Chattogram software studio whose work underpins much of FinTrail's stack. At FinTrail Limited he serves on the board and, as Chief Technology Officer, leads engineering, infrastructure, and platform architecture, making sure the product is fast, secure, and built to last.

Director

A H M Shaogat Alam

Shaogat serves on the FinTrail Limited board and, as Head of Operations, owns delivery, product operations, and quality, the disciplines that keep a SaaS product dependable as it grows. He has shipped and supported SaaS products with customers in many countries, and has led delivery teams across multiple product lines.
